Graduate Students:  Current students in the UTK Microbiology Graduate Program are encouraged to reach out directly to Dr. Burcham by email to discuss ideas for rotation or thesis projects. Prospective graduate students interested in the lab are strongly encouraged to apply to the UTK Microbiology or UTK Genome Science & Technology Graduate Programs.

Undergraduate researchers will work alongside Dr. Burcham, graduate students, and postdoctoral scientists to gain hands-on research experience and will have opportunities to develop independent research projects or thesis projects. UTK undergraduates interested in working in the laboratory should reach out directly to Dr. Burcham by email.
